Since I’m away from my Sweetheart today, I made a special effort to
plan a surprise for her. I asked a friend of ours who loves to bake if she
would prepare a special sweet treat for Anita and also buy some flowers to deliver
to her today. She gladly agreed, and this morning she stopped by the reception
desk where Anita was working and surprised her with a bouquet of roses and a
heart-shaped piece of chocolate fudge. I wanted Anita to know that I think
about her even though we’re on separate sides of the Atlantic Ocean and that I’m
looking forward to being back together with her. She appreciated the surprise.
